Well for those of us that have either casually or intently following the rants between Adobe and Apple. As a developer and user of this technology. Here are m thoughts on what I see going forward as we attempt to turn these exchanges into a living for ourselves.
First I believe that our job is to convert whatever happena on the frontlines of technology into usable technology for our clients. Meaning that I see MoonLite Techs as being the black box between all the googah stuff we see, read and talk about into something that solves the problems of our clients.
As a geek myself I have been looking at the iPad. I plan to get one for myself soon. I see it as a tool to allow me more accessibility to my clients. With a WiFi + 3G iPad. One solution I see it solving is the ability to handle a higher number of technical issues but using remote access tools and software.
For example: A client calls and I am on the other side of town. He needs a printer setup or a router configured. I receive the call and I would make time to get by his office. As technology becomes more pervasive I would use my laptop to connect to their computer or network. Now I can see the iPad replacing the laptop.
Hi I'm Teresa, I'm a web designer, certified geek squad. I love gadgets small and big. I currently work with a crappy laptop but I'm looking forward to upgrade. I'll enjoy my stay here nice to meet you people!
This was my first post to learn how this stuff was done. I called this Urban Tech because I am not a country boy but enjoy living where I can see mountains and great landscapes but not too far from great restaurants, wifi signals and tech stores. Yikes.
